Central Processing is a short, but challenging level. At the end you'll be fighting Saboeth, which you should know as the 'Sarge'. It'll be pretty obvious that you'll be fighting him given that you get a whisper every other minute about the Sarge kicking your ass, and him smelling your fear.
The level is short, but has some rough demons in it. Just go through it with the bare minimum so you'll have plenty of ammunition for the fight with the Sarge.
To get to Sarge you'll have to go to each of the areas that the bridge can take you too before you gain access to Sarge's garage. So hop to it!
When fighting Sarge keep in mind that you can blow up a BFG blast by shooting it. Also noteworthy is that Sarge only has 1,750 hit points, so that means after a Soul Cube and a few rockets he should go down pretty fast. If you wanna make the fight more interesting don't use the Soul Cube and just focus on using Rockets and Plasma.
Your best defense is disrupting his offense. You definatly dont want him getting a BFG blast off without you blowing it up so make sure you keep a heads up on that. With Plasma or Chaingun that shouldn't be a hard task, not to mention you can hit him in the process. Just keep moving, you don't want Sarge to get near you and hit you with his slightly underdeveloped robot claw thing. It's as painful as he is to look at.
Just keep moving around the pillars and if you can't destroy his BFG blasts before they detonate, its best to stand behind a pillar so that you're not within its blast radius. Sarge isn't an extremely exciting fight simply because he moves so slow, but at least he shoots a lot of BFG's to make up for his lack of speed.
After he's dead, don't forget to walk up to him and grab his BFG. |
